Mana Communication Centre
Stay Connected – Even Away from it All
Being in the midst of paradise, surrounded by the most natural elements does not mean that you have to unplug from the world if you don’t want to or if you cannot. The Mana Island Resort understands that for many of our guests, staying in touch is an important element of a successful and relaxing Fiji holiday. Many of our guests need to stay connected – for business reasons and for personal reasons. A Fiji island holiday really does need to offer such services in today’s age of technology.
Technology – Even in an Island Paradise
First and foremost, the Mana Island Resort provides computer workstations as a part of any Fiji deal. These are conveniently located at the Communication Services Center (right next to the South Beach Restaurant). Here, guests have access to computers offering high speed internet access in addition to software and programs for a range of business and personal needs.
The Mana Communication Services Center also supplies all guests with several other services and equipment:
- Fax Machine
- Copying & Printing Services
- E-mail services
- All aspects of mailing & packaging & shipping
- Rental services for various business needs
Café Connection
Mana Island also has an Internet Café where guests will find personal workstations with computers offering high speed internet as well several instant messaging services (including Skype, Yahoo!, AIM, and MSN). In the cool space of an air conditioned room with great music and a friendly staff, this is a great place to stay connected and maybe even make new connections. The staff here also can provide technical support and assistance.
Hot Spots in Fiji’s Hot Spot
Mana Island also offers many different Hot Spots around the island for wireless internet access for the laptop beachgoer. Guests can prepay for cards that come in various packages (minutes and prices) and then connect on wireless-enabled laptops. Instruction-ready and easy to use, this is a great communications feature that Mana Island offers.
Borrow Beach Books
One of the most unique features that Mana Island offers is its Book-Exchange program for guests. Other Fiji island resorts do not typically have such a unique exchange. Free of charge, guests can borrow books from a library. The books have been made available from past guests who have generously donated books. The Book-Exchange is open every day from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
